Welcome to our consultation website.

As you will be aware, Winchester City Council’s Local Plan Part Two has been approved by the Planning Inspector and adopted by Winchester City Council.

As the promoters of the Sun Lane site within policy NA3 of the Local Plan, we have been working with the local community to develop a masterplan for the proposed site.

After eight years of work on this site we have now submitted an outline planning application to Winchester City Council for a decision later in the year.

The Sun Lane site can deliver up to 320 new homes, including affordable housing, as well as land for new employment and commercial use, 16.8 hectares of public open space, and land for the possible expansion of the Sun Hill schools.

We recognise that there has been a lot of discussion about the Sun Lane site as part of the Local Plan process. We have been committed to working with the community whilst the masterplan for the site was at a very early stage, so that there was an opportunity to influence the final proposals.

We last met with the local community in May 2016 at our public exhibition. The plan was still some way off detailed design at that point. However, following further review of the feedback, technical and design work, you can view the final masterplan.
