Our vision...
Ashill Developments and Linden Homes are redeveloping the site, replacing the existing commercial buildings, which are completely alien to the character of the area, with a sensitive residential development.

The development will comprise 58 quality new homes with a mix of houses and apartments.

  • 24 new family houses, five of which will be affordable homes, featuring a mix of three and four bedroom homes
  • 34 high quality apartments, 21 of which will be affordable homes, featuring a mix of one, two and three bed apartments
  • 86 car parking spaces, including nine disabled spaces, with semi basement parking for the apartments and surface and car port parking to serve the houses
  • vehicle access gained from both Somerset Road and Elmtree Road, with the closure of the existing surplus access points

 

Site Layout

The development will have a contemporary design approach which will add to the varied character of the area, whilst introducing significant landscaping and a mix of permeable hardstanding materials.

The centre of the site will feature a landscaped open space as a focal point for the development as well as providing amenity space for the apartments. Careful design will ensure the privacy of neighbouring residents is achieved.
