The London Sustainable Industries Park will be unlike any development at Dagenham Dock, putting greenery and sustainability at the heart of its design.

The flagship development scheme will provide over 125,000 square metres of high quality, environmentally friendly business space for one of the fastest growing economic sectors in the world.

Over the last two years the London Thames Gateway Development Corporation has invested around £40 million, assembling around 25 hectares (c. 60 acres) of sites and is now working with developers Goodman to bring forward the Park.

This advanced gasification facility will produce up to 15 megawatts of energy a year and link into a new heat and power network enabling businesses in and around the Park to be powered by sustainable low carbon energy.

The Thames Gateway Institute for Sustainability (IfS) - which brings together the leading Universities in London and the South East; Research and Technology organisations such as the National Physical Laboratory and major companies such as BT, Marks and Spencer and IBM - has chosen the London Sustainable Industries Park as the site for its new purpose built Research Centre.
